Who we are

Karate Pro Academy operates from three branches:

Information we collect

We only collect what you give us directly, or what our service providers need to operate the site:

• Contact and trial enquiries: name, phone number, email (if provided), location and message (if provided), and the branch you choose, when you submit our contact form. If you arrived from a Google ad, we also capture the Google Click ID (gclid) from the link you followed and the page you submitted from, so we can see which ad led to a genuine enquiry.
• Job applications: name, email, phone number, the role you are applying for, and your CV/resume file, when you submit our careers form.
• Cookies: see "Cookies" below.

Cookies

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. If enabled by us and accepted by you, we use Google Tag Manager (which may configure Google Analytics) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used, and to measure WhatsApp and phone-call clicks by branch. None of this loads before you accept, and nothing loads at all if you decline. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for karatepro.ae and reloading the page.

How we use your information

To respond to enquiries and free-trial requests, deliver and administer classes you or your child are enrolled in, process job applications, and, only with your consent, understand overall site usage in aggregate. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for purposes beyond these without telling you.

Children's data

Some of our classes are for children. Where an enquiry or enrolment concerns a minor, the contact and enrolment details we hold are provided to us by a parent or guardian, not collected directly from the child.

Sharing your information

We share personal data only with the service providers necessary to run the site and our business: our email delivery provider (to receive your enquiry), Google and Microsoft (only for the analytics cookies described above, only once accepted), and, for job applications, whoever on our team reviews candidates. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and enrolment data for as long as needed to respond to you or deliver the service you signed up for, and job application data for a reasonable period to consider you for the role and, briefly, similar future roles, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights under the PDPL

Under the PDPL, you have the right to:

• Request confirmation of, and access to, the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
• Ask us to erase your data, subject to any legal obligation we have to keep it.
• Ask us to restrict how we process your data.
• Object to processing, including for direct marketing.
• Request your data in a portable format, where technically feasible.
